Dünser-Berg House - 1970

One of the first examples of the Blockhaus system being applied to contemporary architecture dates back to the 70s, when the architect Rudolf Waeger created the Dünser-Berg House in Voralberg, Austria.
This building clearly shows how a solid timber house can be placed into a modern architectural context without encountering structural or stylistic problems.
