The Wood Frame Construction Method

In the Residenz System, the load-bearing structure is made out of timber beam framing. The elements are insulated with premium organic materials. The insides of the exterior walls are double planked; the outsides are fitted with thermal insulation made of natural-resin cork. Mineral plaster or wood panelling provide the finish.

The use of pre-assembled block components, which are already fitted for electricity and plumbing, allow for construction to be completed in a very short period of time – no matter how big or small the project. This method of construction stands out because of its heightened efficiency and stability, as well as its optimal static properties.

Even large structures of more than four stories are quite easy to build using this method.
