Toxin-Free Housing in Harmony with Nature

Rubner’s solignois an innovative development of a tried-and-true wood composite system that was already being used in the 12th century by cutting-edge Scandinavian carpenters to build wooden churches.

The walls, ceilings and roof panels are made of solid, rectangular wooden planks that are strung together vertically and which are interlocking. This technique dispenses entirely with the use of glue and hardware, and opens up new possibilities in organic solid-wood construction. All soligno wood elements are completely toxin-free, have excellent static properties and good sound insulation: they create a unique and healthy living environment.

Rubner uses only timber from mountain forests that are managed in an environmentally sustainable way to make soligno wood. It is naturally resistant to cracks and pest infestation. Another special characteristic is its superior form stability.

The soligno system gives you the freedom to fashion an individualised, eco-friendly and well-thought-out living space out of solid wood: for toxin-free, energy-saving and sustainable housing.
