KlimaHaus (ClimateHouse) Nature – the new certification for environmentally friendly construction
KlimaHaus Nature is one of the
KlimaHaus Agency’s new systems for rating a building’s environmental impact. The system measures the effect a given construction project has on the environment, based on a number of different criteria. The parameters range from the energy balance of material emissions to the quality of the air inside the structure. Also taken into account are: the primary energy source, CO² emissions, the life cycle of the materials used, and air pollution caused by the manufacturing and transportation of the building materials.
KlimaHaus Nature certification is a way to promote and support energy-efficient, environmentally friendly construction projects: a simple way in which the client can trace the ecological history of the building.
