Rubner has developed a new, bioclimatic building system out of a combination of wood and clay that is 100% organic.
The starting point for this new solution is
soligno® walling: this revolutionary building technique uses solid wood slabs that interlock without glue or nails. Rubner has already used this system effectively in houses and public buildings it has built in the past, opening up new possibilities in solid wood construction.
Wood is already a material that generally guarantees comfortable living. The addition of clay slabs optimises the quality of the climatic environment: it regulates the internal heat and humidity, absorbing and releasing moisture. Clay is also a non-allergenic material that protects against electromagnetic radiation; it is exceedingly eco-friendly, just as wood is, and can be reused many times.
